Lodge-Like Lavatory

There's nothing quite as exhilarating as riding the slopes all day and then soaking in a hot tub at night in a rustic ski lodge. Sarra and Mike Latendorf have the perfect bathroom for the mountains of Colorado, but it's too bad they live at the beach in New Jersey! The shellacked wooden walls, sizzling heat lamps, unforgiving mirrors and gigantic hot tub prove that this bathroom is severely out of place. Designer Krista Watterworth and carpenter Steven Whittle attempt to bring this space back to the beach.
