Tired of frat-house living and planning the next chapter of his life, 30-year-old bachelor Stafford is on the hunt for a Charlotte-area home where he and his beloved dog Nugget can put down roots and eventually welcome his future family. Property expert Egypt Sherrod is determined to find him the starter home of his dreams. But when Stafford realizes he's not at all interested in home renovations or maintenance, the search for an older property quickly shifts gears. Egypt eventually tracks down a turnkey townhome that gets the stamp of approval from both Stafford and his mom. But then the negotiations hit a serious snag when the seller decides to play hardball.
