Couple Creates a 'His and Her' Basement for a Chance to Win Cash

Host Matt Blashaw challenges a couple to create a 'his and her' basement like pros for a chance to win cash. When the project is finished, Matt, along with another professional contractor, will judge the quality of the finished work and price it out. If Cynthia Newsome and boyfriend Michael Harris are able to do it for less, they win the difference in cash. Michael wants a man-cave living space, and Cynthia wants an amazing walk-around closet. They need to figure out how to accomplish both goals and end up with a top-notch finished basement. But they have little renovation experience under their belts and have only lived together for 6 months. The job gets stressful and tests the couple, but will it be worth it in the end?
