You may recognize master contractor Israel “Izzy” Battres from HGTV's Flip or Flop. Now he’s starring in his very own series called Izzy Does It. The new show will premiere on HGTV in 2025.

What is Izzy Does It About?

The series will follow Izzy and his family as they work together to develop their home renovation and design business in Santa Ana, California — Izzy's hometown. By the end of each hour-long episode, Izzy will deliver dazzling renovation results to clients with realistic budgets in the area.

“This isn’t a series about building homes, it’s about building a family legacy,” says Betsy Atala, interim head of content, HGTV. “During his time on Flip or Flop, Izzy became a fan favorite because of his expertise, sense of humor and common sense."

Now, we'll get to see Izzy's entire family in action, including his wife, brother and two kids, who will all collaborate on some pretty amazing renovations. This show will “change everything we know about renovation series,” adds Betsy.
