Season 2, Episode 7

Revisiting Renovations in Pebble Beach, Detroit and New Jersey

Ever wonder what happens after our house hunters choose their new homes? In this episode we revisit some of our most memorable buyers, including a couple who bought an 80's style fixer in Pebble Beach, California, then spent $100,000 to give her a dream kitchen. We also catch up with a couple who were willing to take on a project in return for space to grow outside Detroit. His top priority: turning a shabby unfinished basement into the ultimate guy's getaway, with an enormous shuffleboard table as its centerpiece. Finally, we return to the New Jersey suburb of Voorhees, where one family gave their outdated and dismal kitchen and master bath magnificent makeovers. But they endured their share of drama, including a toilet fiasco, and a baby who made an unexpected arrival while the contractor was working on the kitchen!
