Big Plans in Birmingham, UK's Second Largest City

Alan and Erin leave Utah in the dust so that he can attend a PhD program at the University of Birmingham. They're new to England, city living and, with a 9 month old son, they're also new to parenting. Although they're on a student budget, Alan craves pricey living in the city center. Three wildly different properties, situated in three distinct neighborhoods, pull them in different directions. Ultimately, they'll have to choose either with their head or their heart.
