A Lift Up

Gill and Julie installed a one-of-a-kind wheelchair lift for their daughter Maya, who has Cerebral Palsy, only to discover that the $17,500 prototype doesn't work. Despite all of the major renovations they have already invested in their home, Gill has no choice but to continue carrying Maya up and down the stairs, which is only getting harder. Mike arrives on site to help give Maya her independence, but the goal proves to be more than a challenge. The trouble starts with just getting the old lift out, and Mike is forced to rethink his approach, redesign the layout and revise his plan to make it right.
