School Nurse Surprise Kitchen and Backyard Renovation

Lauren Weber is a beloved elementary school nurse and dedicated EMS volunteer whom along with her firefighter husband, Steve, always puts others before herself. At the top of the list of their own needs are a kitchen overhaul and something functional and fun for their blank canvas of a backyard. The Cousins recruit Lauren's students, co-workers, fellow EMS volunteers, family and friends to turn their home into a place to share with the community they love. The dated, broken-down kitchen gets a complete modern makeover and they remove the wall from the kitchen to the backyard replacing it with floor to ceiling accordion doors that lead to a new, Moroccan-themed deck complete with a romantic pergola, built-in tree boxes and a custom indoor/outdoor beverage cart.
