Ready to retire and build their forever home in Franklin, Tenn., an older couple asked Noble Johnson Architects to lead the project. Together they decided on a farmhouse with a whitewashed brick exterior, tall dormer windows and a wide front porch, as well as a generous floor plan with a great room, chef's kitchen and wine cellar.
