Dana Lyon, Principal Designer, has always had a passion for interior design. After majoring in Design and Fine Arts in college, she subsequently graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Paris, France. Dana spent 15 years working in the Luxury goods industry with Conde Nast. She was the Publisher of Wired magazine, and worked at Gourmet, Food and Wine, and Vanity Fair publications. Her past experience refines and reflects her impeccable taste in every aspect of the design process, from the simplest to the most customized details.

Founded by Dana Lyon in 2001 as Palm Design Group. Over the past 15 years Dana and her team have been "REFINING" what is interior design today. In order to align the design firm with it's emerging scope of projects beyond its original Arizona setting they recently re-branded to The Refined Group.

The Refined Group encompasses projects in San Francisco, Sun Valley, British Columbia, Aspen, New York, Los Angeles and many other exciting locations.
