Rebecca Zajac designed a white kitchen with blue-and-white tile walls. Crate & Barrel stools line the new island and create a space to enjoy a casual meal or spend time with the host as they prep meals.

This kitchen by Rebecca Zajac was once builder beige with an odd, half-rounded drywall island. Zajac updated the doors on the existing cabinets and kept the original plumbing and base cabinets for the sink and dishwasher. Custom cabinets were built out to create the new island, and a custom-designed backsplash gives the space an organic feel by breaking up the repeating pattern. Crate & Barrel stools provide seating at the new island.

This formerly beige kitchen received a fresh update with a custom backsplash, pretty gray cabinets and a matching island. Solid white countertops finish off the chic and clean design.

Centering the kitchen island, a pretty display of lemons on a wooden board and a vase of greenery bring freshness to the design.
