Most San Francisco buildings are long and narrow with little to no views from the side, but because this lot was located on a corner, it allowed the architect to take advantages of the views from every angle.

White Modern Stairs With Light Fixture

The stairwell was treated as a central access point to the building's different floors, and used as a thermal conduit as well. Thanks to its open design, it also offers views of the city.
