With a passion for art and travel, Kathryn’s cultural experiences both domestically and abroad are a main source of her inspiration. Whether savoring the deep, inky blue of the Mediterranean Sea, discovering a new artist in a West coast gallery, or enjoying an intimate dinner in Provence, Kathryn uses these experiences to curate well-informed and unique designs. She enjoys the thrill of the hunt and is always on the lookout during her travels for one-of-a-kind pieces for her clients.

Her southern upbringing instilled an appreciation of traditional styles, however Kathryn thrives on adding an unexpected punch to her interiors with a well-edited palette of color, pattern and texture. She works to create interiors that are honest, authentic and that connect the interior space to the client.

Originally from North Carolina, and a graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill, Kathryn moved to Washington, DC desiring to expand her small-town roots. After working with various design firms in the metro area, Kathryn established her own interior design firm in 2009.

Kathryn has helped to create inspired homes all over the DC- metro area. Although based in Washington, DC, she is always willing to travel afar for a project. She lives on Capitol Hill with her husband, Ron and their Schnauzer, Max.
