Established in 1984, Richardson Architects is a woman-owned architectural firm providing design and management of residential, commercial, and institutional projects throughout the Bay Area. Based in Mill Valley, the firm consists of four full time staff under the leadership of Principal, Heidi Richardson. The firm was founded on the premise that architects and designers can enhance the natural and built environment through inspiring, contextual, environmentally-sensitive architecture. We collaborate with our clients to envision and create the most appropriate design solutions, not only in terms of place and site, but even more importantly in regards to budget and schedule. It is our goal that our built projects be timeless - clearly and thoughtfully connecting to the broader environment.
