The 25th Street residence was re-designed with openness and light in mind. The whole floor plan was opened up and unique materials like hot-rolled steel added a contemporary feel. In this space, the living room bleeds organically into the family room. The hot rolled steel structure in the space is actually a disguised closet that doubles as a magnetic surface for family photos.

The inspiration for the living room came from the classic, Victorian architecture and bay windows that faced the street. A custom light fixture made of blue glass can be seen from the sidewalk. The sofa was a vintage find that was re-upholstered in a velvet orange fabric. A highlight for this room is the custom designed fireplace made out of hot-rolled steel.

The cabinetry in this modern kitchen was custom designed by Geremia Design. The kitchen island is made out of concrete, serving as a unique surface for the kitchen. It is actually Nu-Crete, which is a patented product that doesn't stain.

The client loves to entertain, so a built-in bar is located next to their dining room space, and a custom fabricated illuminates above. As a nod to the Victorian architecture, a vintage mirror and antique art piece finish the design.
