GardenWise, Inc.

GardenWise, Inc. is a full service landscape design/build firm that specializes in creating unique spaces that inspire, ranging in scale from city courtyards and roof decks, to single family homes, to country estates. We are also a licensed “Class ‘ A” contractor, and promote use of organic and green alternative products. GardenWise has served residential clients in the Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland areas for more than 15 years, and is led by J. Mark White, ASLA, a native Washingtonian who holds a degree in Landscape Architecture from Virginia Tech. The full-time GardenWise staff includes landscape architects, garden designers, stone masons, carpenters, electricians, and painters who work closely together as a team on each GardenWise project.
