Joseph's surprised and sad to be the second to go after his team didn't make enough of a difference making over a living room in a home that was on the market for eight months.
Add some enjoyment to your backyard by installing a brick paver patio. HGTV expert Steve Watson tells you what you'll need and gives step-by-step instructions. It's a fairly simple project, but it does require a lot of elbow grease. First, use a sod cutter to remove the sod from the area. Next, tamp down all the loose dirt, then cover it with mesh carpeting to prevent weeds from growing while allowing water to drain. Add three or four inches of crushed limestone, and level it with a ground leveler. Then begin laying your red brick pavers, starting in the middle and working outward for a seamless look.
