Ingredients
Makes 2 cocktails
- 2 cucumbers, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup lime sherbet
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1 cup red wine
- 1/4-1/2 cup blackberry brandy
- 1 cup ginger ale
- 1/2 cup frozen blackberries
- Ice
- Salt and lime juice for rim
Instructions
1: Blend 1/4 cup water and chopped cucumber until well combined.
2: Strain cucumber with a mesh sieve, collecting the juice in a bowl or cup.
3: Combine cucumber juice, ice, lime sherbet and tequila in blender. Pour in a cup, and put in the refrigerator or freezer.
4: Rinse out blender. Blend red wine, blackberry brandy, ginger ale, frozen blackberries and ice in the blender until combined.
5: Rim glass with lime juice and dip in salt.
6: Pour a small portion of the cucumber margarita in the bottom of a glass. Spoon a small portion of the blackberry sangria in the glass in a rocking motion to create a layered effect. Repeat these steps until the glass is full. Top with frozen blackberries.
