The elevated, diagonal ridge beam that projects out on the leading edge of the wooden structure posed a challenge for the design team. Custom steel connections and careful planning made the outdoor layout successful in creating a cozy lounge for the homeowners and their guests to enjoy.

The four posts and support beams are intentionally large and significant, which gives one the feeling of shelter and comfort.

Part of the challenge in the design was creating a visually rich environment using a variety of raw materials such as concrete, wood, steel, and Dekton.

Beautiful wooden beams provide cover for the outdoor lounge, which includes a custom dining table and a cushioned sitting area next to the fireplace.
