This outdoor living room is defined by a modern steel roof structure that shades the outdoor kitchen and bar seating. The pavilion doubles as a modern sculptural landscape element to provide a focal point for the backyard.

The curved roof structure defines the outdoor kitchen, bar and eating area. The cedar planks on the underside of the roof provide a warm material in contrast to the stone and travertine.

The natural materials for the outdoor kitchen compliment the silver and dark gray that appear in the travertine floor. The warm oranges of the dining chairs and metal fire place component reflect the warmth of the cedar in the pavilion.

The corten steel curve creates a modern mantle for the outdoor fire place with a splash of warm color. The offfset curve if the steel and stone walls create the space for the outdoor fire place.
