Kitchen + Dining: Groovy Mint Blue Galley Kitchen

From: Lucie Ayres

This galley kitchen by designer Lucie Ayres looks totally retro thanks to mint blue cabinets and a cool black-and-white tiled floor. Because the space is smaller in scale, the designer added a custom built-in to the far side of the room, which gives the owners a spot for their desk, pantry and washer/dryer set.

Eclectic Galley Kitchen With Mint Blue Cabinets

Lucie Ayres' client asked to have a pantry, laundry room AND a desk in a small nook of the kitchen. She made it happen mainly by opening the walls between the former laundry room and kitchen and by installing space-saving retractable doors.
