Living Room Makeover: From Spacious to Comfortable
Rhonda Barrington and Daria deGolian of the Interior Arrangement and Design Association redesign a family's spacious living room.- The secretary is repositioned in the corner nearest the fireplace. A cozy conversation area is created in front of the fireplace with the sofa and two chairs.
- A secondary seating area is created under the bay window with a leather-topped game table and a pair of chairs.
- Fabric is swagged across some leftover hardware to soften the look of the bay window. A hem is created with hot glue.
- Cobalt blue glassware is grouped in the secretary and a watercolor hung on the inside of the open door adds a burst of color.
