Line a drawer with corkboard and attach fabric and ribbons for a feminine photo holder.
Materials:

drawer
four legs
four mounting brackets
fabric and batting
scrap wood or plywood
glue
staple gun/staples

Steps:

  1. Cut one piece of wood 3/8-inch thick and the other slightly smaller (1/4-inch thick). The smaller one will be the underside of the lid.
  2. Place fabric, batting and the thicker piece of wood down (figure A). Cut the fabric and batting at least two inches wider than the width and length of the wood so that it covers it completely. Pull them taut and use a staple gun to secure the material to the underside. Cut off any excess fabric.
  3. Repeat the procedure for the smaller piece minus the batting (figure B).
  4. Press the two pieces firmly together with wood glue (unfinished sides together ) and set aside to dry.
  5. Paint the legs as desired. Attach mounting brackets to each corner and screw in the legs.
